  • Eligibility for B2 Visa

Please advise what would be my chances of getting B2 visa, as I will apply without an invitation/sponsorship letter as well as do not own any property? Am i eligible for B2 Visa If I submit the following documents?

    1. Employment Letter
    2. Good salary and strong Bank Statement
    3. Travel History: Visited Europe & UK several times
    4. Confirmed Hotel booking (instead of Invitation letter)
    5. Confirmed flight booking
    6. Marital Status: Married (No Children)
    7. Age: 34

    Thank you.

It's hard to predict, if the visa will be approved or not.

If you are going for a vacation or site seeing, it's better to apply with family.

What is your purpose of visit?

      Thanks Ideal Son

I will be going with my wife for Tourism/sightseeing during my annual holidays.

I am settled in Libya with wife and parents. The US embassy in Libya has temporarily suspended its visas services due to security situation. Therefore, I will apply for a visa at the embassy located in the nearby countries like Tunisia or Malta.

As I mentioned, I do not own any personal property. If the VO asks me during the interview about my property, after saying "NO", can I say that we do have two family houses own by my father? We do have an AFFIDAVIT to prove our houses.

It is good idea to apply along with your wife in holidays.

Take leave approval letter/noc from your employer for the period of your trip.

If your wife is working, follow the same thing with her.

Generally they look for stable job and good salary, family ties and foreign travel history.(but not limited to)

Yes you can tell that your father/family owns properties but I doubt, if he'll consider that!

Anyways, as per me you have good chances of approval of visa, unless there is any barr on your country/citizens.

Prepare well with all basic questions, fill genuine info in DS160 and repeat the same when VO asks. Be confident while giving interview and carry all supportive documents which you feel important.

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.
