Last name discrepency for father regarding visitor visa

Hi friends,

I need a quick help. My parents are applying for visitor visa.

Here is the problem we are facing.

My dad's last name in his passport is "hota" and my mom's
last name in her passport is "hotha". My dad's last name
was printed as "hotha" in my passport.

I took all the sponser documents for my parents with the
last name "hotha".

Should my father needs to change the last name in his
passport to "hotha" to match the other documents or
is it fine ?

It is fine. Your father should use his name everywhere as per his passport.

I have one small doubt.

Should I take the sponsor documents (affidavit etc.) for my
father with the last name "hota" (on his passport) or "hotha"
on my passport under father's name ?
