How soon can they come back on Visitor Visa

My parents are visiting right now; their stay had been extended to 1 year. They are going back in a month. I want them to come back as soon as possible. How soon can they come back? Does INS require them to stay out of the USA for certain period of time?

Well they don't have any specified time frame for the visitor to stay outside US. BUT definately if they visit India for a short time and return they would look more like visiting Indian rather than US and would get suspicious.

My friend's mom had the same case. She was here for 6 months extended stay for another 6 months went to India for just a month or lesser and came back. They sent her for secondary level at the Immigration. Then they asked why she was back so soon and that looks like she is not being a visitor to US. Then my friend explain that his father had passed away and thats the reason why she was travelling often here and that he will make sure personally that she will not visit so often. Then they get her enter US. and just gave a verbal warning.

Once the visa is extended and visaholder comes back to US quickly POE (IO) can deny an entry.
