My husband has a tourist visa. I believe he is considered to be a B2...even though his passport says R b1/b2. I would love for him to stay in the country with me but at this time I cannot sign his A.O.S. I know there is no way around this form if i want him to stay. We have no one who can sign this for him. However his visa expires in about 4 months and I wanted to know if we could extend his stay and get him a change in visa in which he will be able to find work..then after about 6 months of us saving enough money, to go through with a permanent way for him to stay. I apologize for my ignorance. I am completely new to all of this. Any advice would be appreciated. Please list any form I will need or any questions for clarification. Thank you in advance.
