Regarding visiting USA twice in 6 months on B2

Hi,

My father came to USA on May 13, 2015 and returned back June 30 , 2015. He got stamping till Novemeber 12 , 2015. But He wants to come back again in October and stay here for 10-15days. Can he come again now? or is there any restriction that he should not visit USA twice within 6 months?

I do not think any problem will be there since he stayed in USA for 1 and a half months only. Also, he is staying in his home country more than what he did in USA. It is ok for him to visit you in mid Oct but in all probabllity his I 94 will be till the expiry of his visa. This is what happened to a friend of mine.

Thanks for the information. My dad has visa till 2023. But he got permission to stay for 6 months when he visited USA on May 13th. So his Admit Until Date is 11/12/2015.

Now he has plans to visit in october. I guess there is no problem as u said. Please confirm again. Thank u...

That should be fine. He should carry his previous travel documents showing he departed well before the allotted 6 months. Also, he should have proper justification (such as travel itinerrary etc. for returning)
