Vistor visa for mom- sponsored by me or self-sponsored?

I am applying for my mom's b2 tourist visa and wondering whether i should sponsor her or should i apply with self-sponsorship.
Although i have sufficient funds for sponsorship, I have been here in US for just for two months. Is that a factor?
If i decide to go self sponsored, my mother has enough funds to show from her savings and property, but not enough yearly income. Please suggest which option is better in your opinion. Thanks.

If the visitor has sufficient funds to take care of the trip, there is really no need for anyone else to sponsor her.
