when the system will update everyday

I took an appointment for my parents on may 1st 2006 and I want to reschedule it for feb or march. Did anybody had any idea about when the system will update everyday.What time is the best time to look for an available date (I am in central time).

Since the number of cancellation of appointments are few it it unlikely to get an early date

True, you have to keep checking. I saw couple of slots opening up in April and March, but when I went for rescheduling, they disappeared! I am not sure if there are power users who have quicker access to these slots to grab as soon as they open up or it just so happened that they were the first ones to try.

true looks like there are users who enable a software in their systems which will check every second for any dates. my friend whose F1 was denied got a quick appointment through this method. Invented by an Indian who lives abroad

I am expecting my first baby in March. I had interview scheduled for my in-laws on Feb 7th, 2006 but unfortunately it got resheduled to May 17th, 2006. I want to reshedule it back to Feb or March or atleast April or atleast 1st week of May.

Can i know which software your friend has used to check for availability of dates?

vfs site is a scam

It looks like there is some scam in the VFS website. Some times earlier available appointments do not match that of rescheduling calendar. I checked it diligently to observe a slot opening up in available appointments but not showing up in reschedule calendar. While navigating through the calendar to next and previous months, I was checking the earliest available appointments, and it was showing a slot there, but not in reschedule calendar!
Its just frustrating to keep checking this
