regarding sponsor

I am a doctor planning to go to US to give my exam.
My sister is able to sponsor me as my father is not financially well off.
She is working in UK as a doctor
Is that a good idea?
will there be any problem with this?
Please help me as I am really worried with this.

can u please advice me regarding the documents that I should ask from her.
anything that you would advice me in particular to get from her apart from the routine sponsorship letter and her bank documents?
