  • Visitor Visa B2

Hiya everyone,I'm an Indian national and need a bit of your help.

I have been refused a B2 Visa back in November 2009 and the reason given was "my ties to my host country (Australia) were not strong".At that time my elder sister was a "Permanent Resident" and she sent in an invitation letter;she was also partially funding the trip.

Now,I'm thinking of visiting my family during the Easter Break in 2016 and a few things have changed since my last application.
I'll be applying from the country of my origin.
Now my elder sister is a US citizen and mother is a US Permanent Resident.
My travel history is a bit more extensive.

Do you guys think all these changes are satisfactory that I should be thinking about applying for a Tourist Visa again.Lastly is an invitation letter must because I'll be self funding my trip and visiting a bunch of cities on the West Coast with a well planned itinerary.

    Cheers.

Your sister becoming US citizen or your mother being permanent resident does not improve your chances of getting tourist visa. Probably, it reduces the chances.

It is advisable to get the invitation letter if you have relatives in the US.
