My son, also a US citizen is presently in the USA. He is planning to get married in India to his fiancee who lives in India and also is an Indian citizen.
Post the wedding, my son will be applying for an immigrant visa for his wife. I understand that processing of immigrant visa for the spouse of a US citizen is presently taking at least 5-6 months.
During the time period of immigrant visa processing, would his then wife be able to travel to USA for a short visit (My son's fiancee already has a visitor visa that is valid for next few years). The trip will be only for about 4 weeks and she will have her job in India and also a return airline ticket.
