My MIL going for interview on Feb 2.

1. Is property affidavit really necessary or just carrying the property docs
enough for B2 Visa?

2. After getting visa, Is it OK to buy open ticket with one year validity? Will it create any problems at POE?

The property docs is sufficient.

I think 6 months open ticket is best. Don't think they would give you more than 6 months at the poe. Do you plan to extend it? Donno if it would create any problem.

Carry a confirmed 2 way ticket less than 6 mos.
