need info (parents got visa)

Hi
My parents recently got a visitors visa (10 years duration). My question is: Can they make a trip to the US anytime in the next 10 years, or do they have to make a trip within a few months of getting the visa? I heard that there is some law that says they would have to make a trip within six months of getting the visa even though the visa is valid for 10 years. I find this hard to believe but would appreciate any info on this.

They can travel any time before the visa expiry.

I don't know of any such law......as far as I know you can travel anytime before the visa expires.
