Mother's visitor visa

Hi,

I live in the US working on my mother's Visitor Visa (B2). Since she stays alone in India and will be coming to a foreign country for the first time, the plan is that I will travel to India to bring her to US with me.

Now the concern is what should she fill up in DS-160 form in the 'Travel Companions Information' section for the question - "Are there other persons travelling with you ". Should this be 'Yes' since I will accompany her to the US or 'No' since I already live in US with a valid visa and only going to India to bring her with me (so technically, I am not travelling first time in my current visa).

I am not able to figure out what should be the proper answer to this question in DS160. Your guidance is very much appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Want to ask the following related question -

If my mother is asked by the VO during the B2 interview about how she will travel, can she reply that me (her son) will travel back to India to take her to the US ? (despite the fact that she answered 'No' to the "Are there other persons travelling with you " question in the DS160).

the question "Are there other persons travelling with you?" is basically to know if your spouse or children are traveling with you.
In your case, you should select no, cause you won't be considered traveling with your mother, you're just visiting India and then going back to the US.
Being on the same airplane together, still make that answer "NO"
