ADVICE needed plz ......traveling with parents on b1b2 visa

i am kind of confused here.....i hav b1b2 5yr multiple visa....i got it last year for my USMLE exams...during my first visit at OPE i request the officer for longer stay (7-8months) with my exam reasons...then he ask me what was my original intended duration of stay and i said 2 months, same thing that i hav said to visa consulate....then he gave me 2 months stay and said you can visit again, is it ok?? i said ok, thank you.. and i came back to my country before the end of 2 month, i didn't overstay...
NOW its been 7 to 8 months and i hav to go back again to US for my exams..and this time around i need to stay for around 6 months....so would there be any problem in POE since i was given only 2 months stay on my previous visit......will they again give me 2 month stay????? what should i say when he ask me about duration of stay????? 6 months or 2 months?? im confused!!!!!!!

AND another thing is that this time around my parents are traveling with me on their B1B2 visa to visit my sister in US...they got their visa 1 month ago....and they will stay in US for 2 months.....will there be any problem on traveling with parents with all of us having B1B2 visa...but difference in purpose of visit...(me, for exam and parents, to visit sister).....
