Applying for B1/B2 visitor Visa as Chartered Accountant

Hello all

I am a Practicing Chartered Accountant from India and I am applying for Visitors VISA to USA.

I was filing the DS-160 but got stuck on few questions, in which i need your help. Queries are as follows-

- What should I select as my Primary Occupation? There's no option of Chartered Accountant or Self Employed Professional, if I select "Other" what should I mention in Employer's Details? My own firm name, as I am a Proprietor (Practicing CA) and should I fill the Monthly Income details? I doubt as it's only for those employed.

- After that what to fill in, "Have you attended any educational institutions at a secondary level or above?" Should I just mention my 12th and Graduation/Post Graduation details or I should mention my Chartered Accountancy Course details too? Again i don't think I should as Chartered Accountancy is not a degree course and also ICAI is not an educational institution or university as such.


Would really appreciate all the help i could get from here, as google failed to provide help for once. Also quick reply would be greatly appreciated.
