  • Tourist visa - re-issuance process - need guidelines

My parents passports got damaged due to floods at Chennai and they got it re-issued by the Indian Govt. However, the unexpired US VISA status is unknown at this point.

Some say, with little water damage or picture gone little blurry the visa needs to be re -issued.

Could someone guide me how to approach this. They are old and they need help.

    1. Do we have to pay for getting it re-issued ?
    2. What is the process associated with this and is there any org/contact to approach to get it done?

    thx

    Hi,
No you don't have to really pay for this, firstly check online regarding the re issuing of the passport according to your nationality and then you just approach the concerned person with an application.
