Reg: Bank Statements

My parents has got an appointment at chennai consulate on 24th of april 2006 and I have already started preparing all the required documentation.

Do i need to send them all the original bank statements or xerox copies would suffice?

copies of bank stmts is fine, but u need to send original account verification letter from bank as well.
