Urgent Please Advise

Hello,

My mother's visitor visa was rejected in october 2005, my brother sponsored her he has Green Card. Now she has interview in Feb and I am sponsoring/inviting her I am on H1B. My question is will they ask my mother that why sponsorer is different and if yes what should be her answer. Please advise very important and urgent.

My status was H1B.

I don't know what was the real reason why u didn't sponsor that time, but u can say that u were not financially good at that time.

Will they look at the previous DS 156 and compare the current sponsorer name verses the previous?

They may. But there is no issues in changing sponsor. Its allowed.

Consulates checks the new apps with the previous records.

Don't say you were financially poor in the past, it is a negative point. Your parents can just say that this time their other son wants to sponsor them.
And both of their son's are financially well to sponsor their parents.
