Can we request Passport Delivery to Home after VISA approved

Hi,

My parents has USA B2 visa interview in Hyderabad. After VISA approved, can we request for passport delivery to our home address? While booking visa appointment we gave the passport pick up location in Hyderabad since we could not see Delivery to Home Address option.

Please let me know if we can request to home address or not? Thank you.

Yes, you can do that. Please ask your parents to talk to the volunteers (not the visa officer) there at consulate.

Yes, your parents can carry cash. I am not 100% sure, but delivery changes are Rs. 300/- per person ... let them carry Rs. 2000/- it won't be much more than that for sure

As soon as they are done with the visa interview (& if visa is approved), one volunteer will guide them outside. They can simply ask him/her or any volunteer around for the same (they are very helping).

Do they deliver to Village/Mandal. our parents don't live in city/town, i think that's why when booking visa appointment it did not show option for home address delivery. Currently it is showing Hyderabad center as pick up location on Visa Appointment doc.

All passports are delivered by BlueDart in India. So, at most your parent may have to go to the nearest BlueDart office to collect their passport.

Remember, they need to carry another photo ID proof for delivery of passports.
