  • Help needed - parents visa rejected

My parents visa rejected. My husband sponsered for them.

    1. Sent 2 bank letters with ~10K balance in each. Don't know whether they seen both or not. Is only One bank letter preferred ?

    2. Sent 2004 W2/Tax return, 2002 W2/Tax return, 2001 W2/Tax return.
We were not here in 2003. So kept a letter that we were out of US and NO taxable income. Could this cause problem ?

    Please help.
    Thanks and Regards.
    Suman.

Can you write what are the questions asked by CO?

Is your parents have childrens living with them in INDIA?

    Do they married?

Is your father working? if retired what is the pension?

Good luck next time. I think there is no problem with yours 2003 year absence.

      Questions asked for parents are
1)How many children you have and where are they ??
Ans:2, Daughter in U.S and Son in Hubli, Karnataka
2)How much is your pension ?
      Ans:5500 Rs per month
      3)Show the sponser's papers.
4)For mother what does she do ?
      Ans:Housewife
      That all.

Parents are having Son in India who is married and lives with parents.
Father is retired and Pension is 5500 Rs per month.
They saw the pension book and did not see any other
      property papers.
They saw all the sponser's papers and just retuned the
      passport without giving any reasons.

      Thanks for the help.
      Regards,
      Suman.

        Suman,

        Thanks for the information.

If you are thinking 2 bank letters caused rejection, then move the balances into one bank and send one bank letter.

If you think 2003 W2 issue, then not even worry about attaching a letter to CO about not in US for 2003, attach only 2004 and 2005 W2s.

Looks like your parents have ties and pension and son living in INIDIA.

I would think it is only the time and luck.

Keep trying, yours case is far better than my parents case, CO is not willing to see sposor documents and applicant documents.

        good luck.
