hi, so i am on 30 grace of j1 visa now i will goo back to my country on may 6th and i would like to come back as a tourist on may 28th. but i got accepted to college and when i go back to my country i would like to apply for an f1 visa and while i'm waiting i want to g=come back to us to travel for a little bit before a start college. i plan to go back to my country to get the visa on my passport and then come back with my f1. is this possible or i will have problem?

You should be fine if you can show the resources to travel on multiple occasions. Nationality can also be a factor.Comment

Another thing you can do is to request VO (ofcourse once your visa is approved) to give you extra time before your college starts. Or simple raise a question on how soon can you travel to get settle before hand.Originally posted by Libra_14 View Post
