Dear Immihelp,
My mom's visitor visa interview was scheduled on March 01, 2006 at 8.30 AM at the Chennai USA consulate office. Based on the covering letter, she was asked only one question 1). How many children does she has? The lady officer immediately refused to get her supporting documents into the counter that clearly made assurance her return to India. Her visa was rejected under 214(b). She entered into their office at 8.15 am and left the building at 8.55 am. So she is planning write a letter to state that there were no chances given to look her supporting documents and decision was taken based on her status as a WIDOWER and having ONLY ONE SON, who is in the USA directly to the Consulate.
Do you think that this will give a chance to verify her documents and take the decision. She holds house, agriculture lands, etc.
Need help?
Thanks,
Sakthi
