  • Rescheduling to March Telugu

    HI, i have been seeing March 12 for telugu date avilable but not able to reschedule my appointment originally taken in English, this is first time i am attempting to reschudle, a/c rules once i should be able to reschedule with out cancling the existing appt.

    can any one suggest me how to reschedule from English to Telugu.

    u can't change lang. while rescheduling. To change the lang. , u will have to cancel the first one and take a new one for telugu

      I dont think you can change the language once you have already scheduled an apt with English. If I understand correctly, you have to cancel and reschedule to get the language you need.

        I am trying to Prepone the date atleast in Eng but even that is not happening, as the dates are very volatile i cant take a chance of canceling my existing appointment date.

        if i cancle then i have to re do filling the forms and by the time i go back i will not be able to c the date..isent it..

        is it like even after i cancle my existing appointment will the filled in forms DS-156, 157 will remain for 30 days, else i need to re do it.

        so is there any way i can retain my current Eng appointment n Prepone the date atleast in Eng with out being canceling the existing one.

        i am desperatly in need of some solution,

          I dont know if your forms will exist on the system if you cancel your date. But you can prepone your English date if an earlier date opens up. You shouldnt have to cancel your existing apt. What you cannot do is change languages without cancelling. If you want to stick with English, then there is no need to cancel. Just keep checking for earlier dates.

            You cannot prepone dates any longer as per an email I got from VFS. You can only postpone dates once. Now you have to cancel an appointment to schedule one earlier.

              They told me the same thing in their email but I was able to prepone my mother's date. This was after I got their email telling me to cancel then prepone. Either they do not know how their website works or the website doesnt work how they think it should. My mother's apt was for June 6th and I changed it to March 3rd a week and a half ago.

                You were extremely lucky! I've been trying for ages and didn't get to prepone it. Did you go through the reschedule/cancel windows to check for dates or did you look for dates first and then go to reschedule/cancel?
                I finally had to cancel to rebook one a month earlier. The VFS website's driving me crazy!

                  I actually tried through both links - through the availability link and through the reschedule link. Eventually I found March 3rd through the availability link but when I went to the reschedule page the date didnt show up. I got so irritated at that point that I just kept trying via the reschedule link and like 5 mins later March 3rd showed up there. The website is really a pain to navigate and use.
