  • One Telugu and One English Appt (So weird what shld i do?)

    Hi

I took telugu appointment for my father and added my mother as a new applicant. It showed Telugu in the drop down but after completing and taking the appointment I noticed that my mothers Interview letter shows English but my fathers interview letter shows Telugu. Did this happen to anyone else? What should I do, Do I need to cancel my mothers appointment and take it again or just go ahead as they are in a group?

    Please suggest...

    Thanks

yeah wierd..I just was filling up for my parents..When I was filling up,
for my mom the earliest dates were showing similar to regional language however for dad the earliest dates were that of english..
I didnt book the appointment now. I just saved the application D156 and D157s and have clicked exit.
    so strange.....how can that be??

Dont cancel it . Since your father has an appointment in telugu both can attend the same interview. Just to be sure check whether both have the same interview dates

Thanks Visa007. I thought the same way. The dates and the time are same but there is a difference in Sr.no. For Father it is 1 and for mother it is 2. Does it matter?

Thats the problem the system is not giving option to select language for additional applicants. I emailed to the chennai consulate and VFS also. If I get a reply will update this post with the reply.

            Thanks

                  Don't worry

If the interview time is exactly the same then you should be fine. Your dad will anyway get the interpreter and your mom could use the same person. Sr no will be 1 and 2 if there are two applicants. So ask your parents to go to the consulate with a peaceful mind and confidence. Everything will go OK.

                  Sri
