B2 Visa Rejected

Hello,
My in-laws visa was rejected under 214b but the officer said sponsor cannot financailly afford but that's not true because i have balance of 25-30k but on step 7 of i34 i specified only 3k thinking they were asking only the money in savings but my bank statements were stating i had balance of 30k and i draw a salary of 85k per year also but i thik the officer saw that 3k in I-34 and did not look at my letter from bank and emplyoment letter.

Is there anything i can do like write an email explaining this situation so that they may consider this...or this may even make worse..pls advice.

They will not consider any emails. Your in-laws should reapply with a new, correct I-134 sent by you. They should take the old I-134 as well and
explain to the consular that the visa was refused because the son-in-law
did not complete the I-134 right.
