  • possible questions at the port of entry on a B2 Visa

I have a B1/B2 visa that will expire in 7 years. I’ve been in the US (Dallas, Texas) for 4 times on a B1 visa. This year, I am planning to visit my friend and seeing tourist places in New York for a week. I will be staying at my friend’s place. Would like to know what the possible questions at my port of entry are and is there any documentation they will require me to present?

A typical tourist is verbally asked about intended purpose and duration of stay; most are admitted once they convincingly answer those questions.
Occasionally, visitors are pulled aside for additional questioning and should be prepared to provide documentary evidence of their funds\work\family ties to home etc.

possible questions at Port of entry

Thanks dagggit! Another thing, my friend that I am visiting is my boyfriend. I would like to honestly answer the cbp officer that I'm visiting my boyfriend for a week . Will that be fine? I do not have intention to stay long as I need to get back at work before first week of the month. I heard it rang a bell when you say you are visiting a boyfriend. How true is it?

If 'who are you visiting?' comes up, you have to answer truthfully. Any ties to the US are not a net positive for visitors, but facts are facts. Let the CBP decide thereafter.
