HI Guys i got my visa refused under 214 b section and i want to share my information with you guys ,as i have taken a lot from this web site so i had decided that if yes or no on my visa , in both cases i will share my info on the site so that other's like me can benefit from it.
so today i had interview at dubai US consulate and i got refused under section 214 b, and interview was as below.

me: sure mam
vo: why would you like to visit US
me: to see my brother and visit US ( my brother sent me Invitation letter which they didn't ask)
vo: have you traveled Europe
me: no
vo: did you apply before to US visa
me: no
vo: show me your company letter (NOC)
me: shown
vo: what is your brother doing in US
me: business
vo: what business
me: said his business
vo: is your wife here in UAE
me: yes
vo: what does she do?
me: she is house wife
vo: do you have childern
me: yes
vo: how many
me: 2
vo: after typing for sometimes she said sorry but we can't give you visa this time,you can try anytime again.

i don't know why did they consider me under section 214b ,but it's Ok. we learn from our mistakes.

Strange

If you earn good and have family in Dubai, I don't see any reason for refusal. May be after some time you should try again. Don't forget to visit Europe before

Probably they thought you will go and work in your brother's business and get paid in cash undercutting an American's job for a few months though you may have no intention to stay back in USA. I can't think of any other reason.
