Visitor(B2) visa documents required for Resigned Government employee

Hi, my father is applying for USA visitor visa. He is working for a Government Bank in India. He resigned his job recently and it is still under review. what are the documents that he has to take for interview ? and what should I mention in ds 160. Since he still has job do i need to mention as Government employee ? What if the VO asks for NOC ?

If he is working currently then you can mention as Govt. employee. Sample NOC letter,
