Does H1 B need to be restamped in order to sponsor visitor visa

Hi Everyone,

Good afternoon all. Hope you all doing well. I have a question and any assistance will be highly appreciated.

I am in USA now and my visa is stamped in my passport with Company A till 2017 September. I have changed my job from company A to Company B in November 2015 and company B to Company C in April 2016. Now I have approved i797 from company C , where as my passport is stamped with company A till 2017 September.

I am going India in December 2016 and want to apply visitor's visa for my parents.

Will there be a problem ? Do I need to stamp my passport with company B and Company C in India and then apply for visitors visa ?

Any assistance will be really helpful.

You don't apply for a visa; your parents do. You are not part of the application process. And there is no such thing as sponsoring a visitor visa.

It's a simple process.. your parents apply for visas, pay the fees, and attend interviews.. where they have to convince the CO of their ties to India to have a chance.

, While applying the Parent's visitor's visa, there is a requirement that I need to produce my stamped visa as a part of support document. Can you please let me know whether I can provide the old stamped visa passport and the new i797 approval to them.

On the ds160?

No not on the ds160, but on the list of supporting documents which my parents will carry to the consulate for interview includes the sponsor's visa and i797.

Can you please respond if you know this kind of situation.
