Your passport has not been handed over to VFS

Hi,
yesterday my parents appeared for this tourist visa appointment, it went thru fine. They had handed over the passport to them. When i am tracking today the passport status, it says "Your passport has not been handed over to VFS. Kindly contact our regional call centres or call our toll free no 18004 25 0025 for further queries"

does anybody have any idea on this message? i am afraid if anything wrong?

If you passport is taken by the Consular staff, you will get it back in 2-4 days.
