    Asad,

The Embassy interviewers are very difficult with visitor (B2) visas, and there is a very high rate of denial for most countries, excepting Western Europe.

The interviewer will be looking at you as a potential visa overstay risk, and it is up to you to make a case that you have no interest in remaining in the U.S....so have a specific reason and destination for visiting the U.S.

In addition bring whatever evidence of your life and family in Pakistan as proof that you have every reason to return home.

      Advice

      HI Asad,

My first advice is to do some research. In order to get a US visa you need to prove 3 things:
      1) You have enough ties to your home country and you will not overstay in US after visa has expired. In order to prove this you need to show things like property documents, job letter, parents, siblings in papers , bank account etc. In your case and since you are so young, this is very hard to prove. You do not have enough ties, as you are so young and there is high probability that you may stay in US even after visa expired. There is not much you can do in this case. Once you grow up, get married etc., then these will automatically develop. For now I do not see much chance of you meeting this, and so denial for you is a very very high probability (>95%).
      2) You have enough funds to support yourself, or someone is supporting you in US. For this you either have to show lot of property and bank account balance in Pakistan, or your "friend' has to send you supporting documents. To be honest, an 80 year old friend is hard to understand, and emabassy. How can you have such an old friend? That again is a red flag and again, high probability of rejection (>90%).
      3) You will only enter US to do what the purpose of the visa is. that is, if it is visitor/tourist visa, you will not work here or have medical treatment or study. This is har to prove again, and depends on each persons situation in life. For you, this is another red flag, and again high probability f rejection.

So, in summary you are almost certain to be rejected. My advice is don;t waste your time and money. At this age you should be worried about building a career. Once you achieve something in life, then think about visiting and touring foreign countries. For now, study and study hard.
