Interpreter at Mumbai Consulate

Hello,

I would like to know where exactly(at what point) in the Mumbai Consulate do they ask whether you need an interpreter or is an interpreter available at all counters?

You need to specify that you need the interpreter at the time of scheduling an appointment.

For Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi consulates we do not have the option to choose language while scheduling the interview. Only Chennai has this option. Apparently in Mumbai interpreters are available at all the counters.

Recently my friend's parents appeared at Mumbai consulate and there they mentioned (initially at the door) that they would like to be interviewed in Gujarati and their interview was held with an interpreter.

Please note - they took the appointment online, with English language.
