Can I apply for an Extension for my mother when the Visa is granted for 1month at POE

Hi,

My mother was here from Feb 2016 - Aug 2016 ( Six months) and she went back to India on Aug 14th '2016 & now she returned to US today i.e 26th Oct 2016 which means she stayed in India for 40 days . when she came back today , the visa officer issued a visa for 1 month. This is the situation & below are my questions:

1.Now can I apply for an extension & wait till I get the approval ,so that it may take 2-3 months.
2.How soon should I apply for the extension in case if I decide to extend
3.If I apply for an extension, will it be a problem in the future at POE
4.What would be best solution for this problem.

You are misusing the tourist visa. It is because of people like you that many others are rejected. be careful your mother's visa could be cancelled if she uses it to 'live' in this country.
