My name is ahmad .i live in pakistan.I am planning to apply visitor visa with my wife .we have four kids .but we are planning to apply alone without our kids.I am mechanical engineer and have decent salary with sufficient bank balance .what other documents are required to show strong ties in pakistan ???what are my chances ????

If you own property that could also help show strong ties to home country, but traveling without your children and leaving them in your home country will be your strongest. No one can tell you your chances because it is entirely up to the vo officer you interview with. If the vo thinks your an immigration risk based on your submitted application or circumstances for your visit, etc. they will deny. All you can do is apply.
