Hi,
I went for H1 Visa stamping in Calgary on 09/21. VO told me that my visa is approved and I would be getting passport in a week. But My passport status is still showing as "Administrative Processing" as od today 09/29.. Went to U.S embassy on 09/28 and they mentioned that my case is still in "Administrative processing" and could take many more days. They asserted that mine is a special case and is being reviewed, in normal scenario looks like passport would be ready in 2-3 business days. I am not clear with their response, as what would be holding the stamping process when Visa officer told that the visa is approved.
I am really looking forward for anyone who went to Calgary for stamping and if there are delays in passport pickup. Looking forward for suggestions or your previous experience.
