Mom Got Visa

My mom got visa on march 20th.We will know if the visa is single or multiple entry as soon as the passport arrives.I want tp express my thanks to this site and forum for being helpful.Best wishes for everyone applying for visa.

The interview was in chennai consulate and it was in english.
These are the questions asked .The questions are in no particular order.

How many children do you have?
Two daughters.
Are you a widow
Yes
When did your husband pass away
20 years ago
Where is your daughter working
--- Company
Where is your soninlaw working
--- company
Are you working
Yes ina bank
Are you stayingin india alone
No with my second daughter
After that the VO asked her to pay the fees.He didn't look through any documents of either the sponsor or visitor.
Getting the visa depends on VO and luck.

My mother's interview time was 12.15pm.I don't think interview time is relavant in getting a visa or not.

who was the sponsor

Hi Anila,
Did you sponsor for your Mother or your Husband.In any case what was your visa status and did u fill the sponsor information at the time of taking interview?

Hello msr,
I sponsored my mother and the travel agent included that information in the DS156 form.I think that you can change the sponsor's name in the DS 156 form after the interview date is fixed.Hope this information helps you.
