I would like to thank everyone who is sharing their experiences with the US visit visas which are very helpful to everyone.
I have been searching in the net about things related to make US visit visa application stronger and with high probabilities of success.
NOTE: My husband lived in the states for 4 years between 1999 and 2003 on legal basis, marriage, and had a green card but abandoned it all because of his parents.
my husband has applied for US business visa on 20014 and was approved, he went attended a training for 3 months and came back with no issues.
HERE IS the story of our experience in the US Embassy on October 31st 2016
we have applied as family, me my husband and 2 kids both under 14 years. we did everything perfectly. appeared in the embassy 1 hour earlier, went through all check points, then stood in the line for the VO interview.
there were only 2 windows, one of the VO looked too serious, strict and rejected too many applicants. unfortunately, our turn came on his window.
He asked, purpose of trip, we said Orlando for the kids, NY & North Carolina to see my husband's aunt as there will be family event that his cousin is getting married. duration of trip 1 month as stated in the DS-160 forms. moreover, we mentioned about his aunt in the application.
Then he asked my husband have you been to the state before? my husband said, yes twice and explained as i mentioned above.
then my husband said i lived there for few years!!! that was the biggest mistake, since the VO color went yellow and then showered my husband with too many questions such as how did your relative got the citizenship and what you were doing during the time you lived there.....
i felt that the VO went mad and he will reject our visa, and so he did!!!!
we were rejected under 214B.
NOW, PLEASE FOCUS WITH ME...
we want to reapply again around Jan or February, BUT we want to do it differently and here where i need your advise and help plsssssssssssssssssssssssss
Beside his relatives, my husband has great number of native US friends, who can support us by sending invitations.
we are thinking to let my husband applies first, with invitation from his US friend sent by email, stating there will be wedding or anything similar and he wants him to attend and that he will provide accomodation and ensures he will leave the states right after the visit is over. this will make my husband position stronger since me and our kids are home, so he has strong ties to come back for.
Hopefully my husband will get the visa, then i will apply me and my 2 kids together, stating that we want to join my husband for the same purpose, or i can say only Disney land in Orlando, i am quite confused of which one to choose?? please advise
do you guys think this scenario is good? will our chances to take the visas all of us me, my husband and our 2 kids are stronger in if we apply separately not as a family like the previous time??
will they ask about what previously mentioned in my husband application about his cousin's wedding?
shall my husband mention his relative details just like he did previously or just to mention his friends who is sending the invitation?
will they ask why me and my kids are applying separately? and what can i say ?
our salaries are good and are happily settled in our base country and have no intention whatsoever to live in the states.
Please please help me and share your thoughts and advises. we will pay the fees for 4 persons, which is quit big amount, but still we really want to go to the States for a tourism and to see his family as we never met them???
Awaiting your advises
Thanks in advance.
