Visa expired and have interview for MIL

Hi my h1b visa is expired in september 2016 and my company has applied for renewal in june itself yet to get accepted visa letter, but i do get for sure in coming month (dunno when), now i have an visa interview for MIL in this month, if the interviewer ask for visa of mine or daughter, it will be in under process, will that lead to any problem in rejection or they know that we are applied and will get asap.

That is not a problem. You just send the copy of the I-797 Receipt Notice.
