B2 changed to F1 status; planning to leave and come back using B2 visa

Hello, I came here on B2 visa late 2011 and changed my status to F1 early 2012. Been on F1 status (ESL) for 4 years and planning to leave on early 2017. My B1/B2 visa will expire on 2019, can I still come back using it? And how long do I have to be out of USA before I can come back again to avoid being questioned?

Anyone who is and was on the same situation, need your inputs. Thanks.

You can come to US on visitor visa as long as you have valid visitor visa. There is no specific rule but i would suggest 6 mons.
