  • visa for medical observership

im a recent medical graduate (MBBS doctor) in delhi. i wish to apply for residency in usa and have got invitation letter for medical observership from medical university in usa for a period of 2 months.
so i plan to apply for b1/b2 visa- i have an invitation letter for observership specifying the dates and visa letter for my CS exam

the issue is i dont have a long job/employment to show strong ties in my home country- just started working in a hospital and have not even received my salary as yet (i have an employment letter though). and many of my friends got their visa application rejected for the same reason 214(b)

i was wondering what would be a better option to apply- should i apply for b1/b2 visa and show my purpose of visit as observership or should i show my purpose of visit as family vacation to meet my relatives- which i heard has better chances of acceptance (both my parents have 10 years B1/B2 already)

i have many relatives in usa who can give me sponsorship letter also

Apply for visitor visa and shows purpose of the visit as observership. Always be honest and tell the truth while attending US visa interview.

Bring the invitation letter, employment letter and other financial documents and other supportive documents whatever you have. If you don't have paystub nothing can be done but don't lie.
This is not a legal advice. Use at your own risk.
