Medical test, visitor insurance, medical insurance..

Hi,

My parents are appearing for visitor visa interview on Monday and they have a confirmed return ticket. If visa is granted, travel is in mid April. I am on L1 in USA, and sponsoring them.

Is medical test or certificate necessary for travelling?
When should I apply for visitor insurance for them?
When should I apply for medical insurace for them?
I believe they need not take any insurance from India.. Pls advise.

No insurance/test/certificate is mandatory for travel but you must get them health insurance for their own benefit. Get it from a US company, and not an Indian company on the day they start their journey.
You can buy online health insurance on this forum.
