My Mother got visa in 4th attempt.

Today my mother got visa in 4th attempt in chennai. She is a widow.

She was denied visa two times in 2003 and one time in 2004.

Questions asked

1. How many children you have
2. is your daughter living with u
3. Where was your husband working
4. Where is your son (My elder brother, who is in india) working.
5. Do you have any property
6. What is your income.

That's it. This time, In the letter, which I sent to consulate, I listed
all the family ties, she has in india. I am not sure, whether it made
any difference.

It looks like, things are easier now. This is the time to apply for Visitor visa.

Even my mother is on the same situation and she was rejected 3 times because I dont have my Father and they thought she might be an potential immigrant.I have my Sister and Grandparents living with my Mom and my Mom is a govt emplyee. None of the documents or NOC were seen and just rejected the visa when she told Husband is no more.
So it will be of great help if you can just post the sample letter here and I can use the format for her next interview.
