Can Apppointment dates change favourably in the future?

Hello,

I am trying to get a visa for my parents to visit me in US. The earliest appointment date available is Sept 19th. I want to get a date earlier than that. Can these dates change favourably in the future ? Also my parents are visiting Thailand for a week. Can they apply for a US visa from there ?

Once the vfs modification process is complete, applicants may get an early date than this long gap. Be patient.

Apply from your home country not from another country.
