Hi All,
My Parents had their Interview on April 7th at 11:00 AM in Chennai and they got their Visa very easily and were out by 12:10 PM.
Below are the Questions they were asked:
1. Whom r u vising there?
A) My daughter & Son-In-Law
2. How many childrem do u have?
A) 3
3. What do u do
A) I have my owm industry and my father told what he manufactures etc...
4. The Officer asked my mom.." maam for how many months you & your husband want to visit "
A. my mother said " 3 months"
5. Finally he asked my parents "will you come back?"
A they answered " Certainly"
Thats it..in less than 2 mins they were paying the Visa issuance fees
Apparently the officer din't see even ONE document...
One of the most important thing which i was very worried about was the spelling mistake in his name in DS-156 and that was NOT AN ISSUE AT ALL.
My father told the lady who verifies the DS-156 form in 1st counter that there was an extra "A" in his name and she said poiltely that there is nothing to worry about because Visa is always issued on your passport details, so even if u make a mistake in DS-156 there is nothing to worry about coz when the visa is issued, they check your name & other details in passport and put in the details accordingly.
Then again my father mentioned the same to the lady who was finger printing him and she her answer was also same.The ppl there were polite and nice too. So all the guys there please don't worry like me if u have made small mistake on DS-156 from points 1-14.
And finally i just wanted to thank Immihelp site & especially this forum...
