How may times can you visit US on a 1 year multiple entry visa ?

Needed answers to a couple of questions regarding usage of a 1 year multiple entry visa -

1. Is it ok and safe to use the Visa to come back to the US twice for 1 month duration each time ? Once in the middle of the visa validity (6th month) and then again in the last month of validity (12th month) ?

2. What if you come only once and that too in the last week of validity ? Can the immigration officer at the POE create a hassle ?

To be honest, this might or might not create a problem at POE. Thats a risk u gotta take.They might question about his/her intend. Instead, you can come and get 6 months stay in I94 which is hassle free and if its feasible. You can come till the last date of ur visa validity period and get a 6 months stay after that. Visa is just for entering US and I94 decides ur duration of stay.

I understand that but the question is how often can that 1 year visa be re-used ! Can you come every other month throughout the 1 year period ? That would mean that the 1 year multiple entry was used 6 times to come to the US !!!??!?

Of course the example above is an extreme case but using it twice should be OK I think ?

Anyone know about a case where someone used their 1 year multiple entry more than one time to enter the US ?
