Is assisting a pregnant woman an emergency case to call parents

Hi Guys,

We are expecting baby in July and I tried to call my mother in June. But I got the appointment for August. I preponed it for April under Emergency category.
Will there be any problem? What are the other documets I need for emergency appointment? Will consulate people consider assisting a pregnant woman as emergency?

Any help would be appreciated.

But I have a strong letter from the doctor stating that we need assistance from my mother and she needs to be here by end of June. And the interview is in chennai...

Its good to have that letter. That will give u a chance atleast..

It might or might not help as they usually do not consider pregnancy as the emergency situation.

This does not comes under emergency for visa purpose.

Any unforseen situation is emergency eg death... somebody on death bed..etc.
Wedding, graduation, pregnancy do not come under emergency situation... However if you have a doctor's letter supporting your mom needs to be here they might consider it an emergency...
