  • B1/B2 Visa urgent help

Hi i am new to this forum,

I need help. I have canadian PR and my spouse is Canadian Citizen we are living in Canada. My mother is coming to canada on long term parents visa(PG1). I want to get B1/B2 Visa for her from New Delhi. We visit US very often and cant leave my mum who is 70+ in Canada alone. So want to get US B1/B2 for her so that every time she can travel with us.

How dificult is to get US B1/B2 Visa for her without any any invitation from any one in US. She may be able to show 4-5 lacs in her account. however i can mention in cover letter that i am going to sponser every thing of her trip to US as she will always travel with me and my family.

What should i do. Please advise.

    thanks

    Tam.

My opinion is that your chances are remote. First, I see no reason for a 70 yr old get a business visa combined with tourist visa. And the argument that you /your wife travel to US will not be a strong reason for her to have a tourist visa, unless she is already living in Canada with you and you plan a trip together for tourism purposes - that does not look like the main reason why you/wife have the frequent travels to US...you should consider reducing the number of times you travel to US if you want to care for you mom, is not the objective of having her with you in Canada? However the only way to know your real chances is applying to a visa.

      B1/B2 refuesed for my inlaws

      Hello All,

My Fater -in- Law and mother -in-law appeared for a B1/B2 visa on 09/may /2017.

They are my wife's mom and dad,i have given all the documents pertaing to my details, but i dint find it necessary to give my wifes visa or pp copy as i was the point of contact in USA ,
the VO office refused asking "u should have carried ur Daughters Visa copy " and gave 214(b).

Now i am scheduling an new interview with the documents , do i need to keep any additional documents ?

      Thanks in advance.

      thanks and regards,
      CSR

what is PG1 visa ? what visa are you on ? i think PR card doesnt allow entry to usa, you have to have usa visa, ? usualy there should not be an issue, but you want to apply from home country or after your mother arrives in canada, are you working too, personally i think let her come there first and dont apply for B1/B2, apply only for tourist, if intent is clean and applied smartly there should not be any issue.
