Hi, I would really appreciate some expert advice here. Thanks in Advance.
My interview summary:
Q- what is the purpose of your visit?
A- I'm going for tourism purposes and also to meet my uncle there.
Q- is your uncle a US citizen?
A- yes
Q- how long is your trip going to be?
A- one month
Q- what do you do?
A- I'm a senior sub editor with a leading day new paper ( mentioned name to her).
Q- what's your income?
A- rs 28,000/month.
Q- are you married?
A- no
Q- thank you. Sorry I won't be able to accept your visa application for non immigrant visa because you haven't been able to show sufficient ties with India.
That's all. I tried telling her please see my NOC from my employer, my bank statements and savings slips, my house papers, and letter from my uncle.
She simply, I understand, I understand.
I was initially a bit shocked.
I genuinely want to go for tourism purpose only. Have always wanted to visit the country. I have more than enough savings for this trip (rs 2.5lakh) and want to go spend a good vacation with my uncle's family in California. I want to visit LA as well.
I have a proper career here which I have no intention of leaving. My NOC clearly says that.
How do I convince the officer. What did I do wrong in this interview?
I want to apply within a 2 weeks. Is that advisable?
Nothing will change in 6 months as such.
I still wanna visit the country for holiday and visiting relatives only. My job will be same here. What should I do? Please help. Thank you
