Visitor visa question - Please Help

I am applying for a visitor visa for my mother-in-law. I am on H1 and my wife is on H4. Whose birth cirtificate is required(mine or my wife's)?

For Bank accounts - Is it acceptable to get letters from Money market accounts(Like ING direct?)

If u can withdraw money from those accts like regular banks, then yes.
