B2 visa lenght

Hi All,

Just want to know if B2 visa is granted for few months also or is it always for 10 years ? I heard more than 90% of time, they give 10 years B2 visa.

The default length of the visa depends on the country of the passport. You can look it up by country here. For some countries, B-2 is 10 years; for some countries, it is 1 year or less.

But they can give a visa with a shorter length than the default length in a particular case if they decide.
